How will my
order be shipped?
We use a variety of shipping providers to deliver your order,
including UPS and the U.S. Postal Service (USPS).
What if I have
a Post Office box or live in Alaska or Hawaii?
Delivery to PO Boxes and anywhere in Alaska or Hawaii must
utilize the USPS. Choose between USPS Priority Mail and USPS Next
Day delivery.
How long before
my order ships?
In-stock orders are processed and shipped within 5-7 business
days and you will be notified of any backorders at that time.
Business days are Monday through Friday (UPS does not operate
on weekends). In-stock air shipments are guaranteed to ship the
next business day.
What if I need
my order right away?
Orders shipped via Standard Delivery will arrive in approximately
2 weeks. See below for rush delivery options, or contact us via
e-mail.
When will my
order arrive and how much will shipping and handling cost?
This depends on your location and the chosen shipping method.
Based on the weight of the items in your cart, an exact shipping
charge will be calculated before you submit your order. Ground
shipping for up to 1-pound starts at a base rate of $3.95. Listed
below is the average cost of a 3-pound package (i.e.:
sandals or jeans). Transit times are in business days (M-F) and
are in addition to order processing time (see above).

Note
on international shipping charges: Depending on the size and
weight of your order, we may be able to ship international orders
under 4 pounds for less than the quoted amount via US Global
Priority. Other heavy or bulky items may cost more. Contact
us via e-mail if you have
questions regarding shipping. You will be notified prior to
any changes to your order total.
How do you handle
back orders?
Back ordered items are shipped upon arrival. Orders are shipped
in no more than two installments. Back orders will be shipped
Ground at no extra charge. Customers may upgrade the shipping
method for back orders for the difference in price between Ground
Service and the chosen shipping method.
How do I return
or exchange something?
Contact us to receive a Return Authorization (RA) number via e-mail.
Please indicate the items being returned and any exchanges you
are making. Fill out the return form on the back of your receipt
and include with the merchandise (make a copy of the receipt for
your records). You may clip our address from the upper left-hand
corner of your receipt to use as an address label. Clearance and
sale items and items returned after 30 days from the date of shipment
are returnable for exchange or store credit only. GRASS
ROOTS WILL PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING CHARGES ONLY MIS-SHIPS AND
DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE.

Email notification
will be sent when the return is received and processed. When applicable,
credit card refunds will be applied within 30 days from the date
the return is processed. Exchanges are shipped via Ground Service
at no extra charge (limit one free exchange per order).
